Venture Market: Frothy?

Uber is valued at 120 times last year’s revenue at $50 billion, with a “B”.  I shudder to think what that means on an earnings basis?

When firms like this go public, and they will go public barring a collapse of the markets, will the public market absorb them in potentially a “Greater Fool Theory”.  In fact, the bubble may be bursting already – or at least a slow air release – as companies such as Apigee and Box have lower public market valuations than their last round as a private company.  Buyer beware.  A simple question might be is “Would Warren Buffett invest in Uber at its current valuation?”.
