Brand perception is tough to change once consumers think of your brand one way.テつ Just ask Men’s Wearhouse.テつ They just announced that the “buy one, get three for free” promotions would end immediately and, consequently, lowered their earnings forecast by 40% or so.テつ Reaction: Stock price down more than 40%.テつ Not good.

While perceptions can change, it takes a while for consumers to become accustomed to the new strategy.テつ In this case, the strategy beingテつgetting customers toテつpurchase less in quantity, but more on quality and value.テつ We shall see if it works?
